Description
The Jasion EB5 MAX is a powerful fat tire electric mountain bike built for adults who want strong performance on hills, commuting, or light trail riding. Its high-carbon steel frame and wide 26″ x 4″ fat tires provide excellent stability and grip on varied surfaces, while the front suspension helps smooth out bumps for a more comfortable ride.
Powered by a brushless rear hub motor with 1500W peak output, it delivers strong acceleration up to 28+ mph with multiple pedal-assist levels, throttle, and cruise control. The removable 48V 15Ah (720Wh) battery offers a claimed range of up to 65 miles in pedal-assist mode (real-world typically 35–50 miles depending on terrain, rider weight, and assist level). A clear LCD display shows speed, battery level, assist mode, and more. Dual disc brakes provide reliable stopping power, and the 7-speed drivetrain helps handle changing inclines. Additional features include fenders, a rear rack, and LED lights for practical daily use.
Victor’s Take
I like the Jasion EB5 MAX when you need real power for hills without spending a fortune. The 1500W peak motor makes steep inclines much easier than most budget bikes, which is great if you live in hilly areas or just hate working hard on rises.
At 83 lbs it’s one of the heavier options, so lifting it into a car or moving it around takes noticeable effort — not ideal if you frequently load/unload. But once you’re riding, the fat tires and suspension give a stable, cushioned feel on pavement or light trails. The range is generous for most daily errands and leisure rides.
Overall, it’s a strong, well-reviewed choice for riders our age who want capable hill help and versatility in one bike. The step-over frame is standard, so consider your mounting comfort. A softer seat is a common easy upgrade many of us make for longer comfort.
