Description
The EUY CityRang 4.0 is a versatile fat tire electric bike designed for commuting, errands, and light off-road or trail use. Its low step-thru aluminum frame makes getting on and off simple, while the 20″ x 4.0″ fat tires and front suspension deliver extra stability and cushion over bumps, gravel, or uneven pavement.
Powered by a 750W nominal (1500W peak) brushless rear hub motor, it offers strong acceleration up to 30+ mph with 5 pedal-assist levels plus throttle and walk mode. The large removable 48V 20Ah battery provides impressive claimed range up to 70 miles in pedal-assist mode (real-world typically 35–50 miles depending on terrain, weight, and assist use). An HD color LCD display clearly shows speed, battery level, assist mode, and mileage. Dual mechanical disc brakes with EABS and a 7-speed drivetrain help you manage varied inclines and stops with confidence. It includes a sturdy rear rack, dual lights, and comes 90% pre-assembled for easy setup.
Victor’s Take
I like this EUY CityRang 4.0 for riders our age who need real hill-climbing power and don’t mind a bit more weight for the extra capability. The 1500W peak motor makes steep inclines feel much easier — even with some cargo or a heavier rider — without being overly twitchy on flats.
At 71 lbs it’s noticeably heavier than lighter commuters, so lifting it into a car or up steps requires planning, but the step-thru frame and fat tires make the actual riding stable and comfortable. The range is generous for most daily use, and the suspension smooths out rough spots nicely.
Overall, it’s a strong value pick if you want one capable bike for errands, light trails, or anywhere you might face hills. Many mature riders appreciate how straightforward it is. A softer seat is a common quick upgrade for longer comfort.
